There are many ways to get involved at Hayhurst School. Many activities are outlined below. Not all events happen every year – often it depends upon whether a coordinator is available. If you have an idea that you don’t see here, please feel free to bring it up at a FOH meeting or talk to one of our officers. You can contact the FOH President for more information.

All volunteers are required to complete a Criminal History Background Check. Portland Public Schools pays the fee. The background check needs to be completed every three years and once it’s completed it is good for all Portland Public Schools.

For the safety of everyone, volunteers need to check in at the office to grab a badge before heading to your volunteer destination.
